Escape to a beautiful Cotswold farmhouse to rest and recharge

Our vacation rental is the perfect place to holiday in the Cotswolds! The main house is a 19th century farmhouse restyled for modern living. With 5 bedrooms and 8 beds, up to 14 people can be accommodated across 3 floors, including a large and accessible ground floor bedroom.

A large conservatory allows you to enjoy the views even when the weather is not so great!

The kitchen includes a large oven with induction hobs, whilst the dining room has a travertine marble table capable of seating 12 people at a time - the perfect place for enjoying a special meal together with your friends and family.

High-speed fiber internet, a large TV with surround sound, and a log burner mean you can enjoy cozy evenings with your loved ones.

The nearest town is Burford, one of the most famous Cotswold settlements dating from the medieval period, and a regular destination for those wanting to explore the area. It has a small supermarket and a number of pubs, cafes, and restaurants.

Other locations nearby include Cotswold Wildlife Park, Kelmscott Manor, and the Thames at Lechlade. Oxford is also accessible by a 30/40 minute car journey.

During the Second World War, the farmhouse was the commanding officers’ quarters for RAF Broadwell.

During the war, Dakota-class planes from RAF Broadwell were used to tow gliders and carry out parachute drops, including during D-Day.

A significant amount of one runway remains, and forms part of the bridle path around the farmhouse.
